As its name suggests, it’s a steakhouse. I was expecting to go through a cold store like in the mafia movies… None of this happened 😉 When you entered the butcher shop, you can’t see immediately the restaurant. Indeed, it’s hidden at the back. It is a modern, bright and welcoming room.
We were warmly welcomed by Alexandre de Toulmon’s collegue who explained us the concept and the menu. I ordered a piece of beef.
Alexandre told us about the mea the selects at the best French farmers. He’s passionnate and knows exactly the origin of each piece of meat. I learnt many things about meat on that evening.
We only had one idea : taste the meat ! It was a real moment of happiness in mouth. The piece of meat was pefectly cooked and seasoned.
For veggie, Alexandre can prepare you a vegan steak.
Wine selection is relevant.
After having eaten a 300 grams piece of beef, I wasn’t able to order a dessert. If you have a big appetite, please note that Bidoche also provides sweets…
By the way … Bidoche is also a bucher shop ! You can buy some meat or home- and ready-made food.
